Delaware Secretary of State Closed 4/10, Good Friday

The Delaware Secretary of State has announced that it will be closed for regular business on Friday April 10, 2009, in observance of Good Friday. If you have a transaction closing and you need the 4/10 date as the “Filed” date you must prefile the document with a provision in the document calling for the later effective date of 4/10. Delaware Corporate Agents, Inc., can assist you with that filing, call 302.762.8637 or email delcorp@delcorp.com. In the alternative you can prearrange for a special filing on Friday at a cost of $1000 plus the usual filing fee.

The Delaware LLC Tax is due on or before June 1, if each year. The payment must be received by the State by June 1 and not just postmarked.
